How to draw a five pointed star inscribed in a circle

Cartoons always attracts kids, why not to draw a star cartoon, follow the below given steps and it will be with you.

Step 1: Draw a 5 pointed star you learned in the above step.

Step 2: On both sides of the star draw hands using 2 arms with many curves forming a cloud.

Step 3: Inside the start draw eyes with2 ovals, eyebrows with 2 rectangles, draw 1 big oval with line below.

Step 4: Draw legs on the bottom part.

Step 4: Color the star accordingly or as shown in the image below.

Drawing a star cartoon needs not any extra skill, all you have to draw a basic star and add cartoon eyes and mouth to it.

Your shiny stars are ready to sparkle with these easy steps.

Your Drawings Are Complete

Congratulationsyou did it! Now you can draw different kinds of stars. I hope the compass and protractor became your best friends, and together youll create many more geometrical objects.

Creating technically perfect figures requires skill and patience, so if your stars came out slightly uneven at the first attempt, dont give upjust try again. Sometimes the tools we use allow imperfections, like the inaccuracy of the protractors grid.

At the same time, remember to have fun and enjoy the process!;

How To Draw A Radially Symmetric 5

I’m looking for a 5-pointed star that I can rotate as part of a user interface. Therefore, the center of the star should not move otherwise, it looks strange.

However, no matter where I get a 5 pointed star from, the center of the star is not at the center of the image.

I’m confident that such a shape exists, because:

  • It’s possible to make a radially symmetric pentagon. Each vertex is 72 degrees apart on the circumscribed circle.
  • Such a star can be bounded by a square, since the circle can circumscribe a square; at most 1 point of the star will touch the square. It’s possible to have a square asset containing a radially symmetric star, with the star’s center at the square’s center.

If I wanted to make such a shape, what low-cost software could I use, and what would the basic process be? Since I’m looking for radial symmetry, I imagine starting with a perfect pentagon is the key. I expect the hardest part of the process to be ensuring that all 10 edges of the star have equal length.

  • 2Whether or not this is “difficult” is pretty opinion based and depends on one experience. What is your real question you’re asking? Also, what software do you have access to? How much is “low cost”?;Zach SaucierJun 27 ’17 at 11:55
  • Now if you want to minimize your image size, and it for some reason has to be square , then the smallest possible rectangle is touching your star in 2 points. only your star has been rotated by 9 degrees.
  • Group both square and star.

When you build things a lot, you tend to take for granted the things you have picked up over the years. This Instructable is one of those things for me — which is how to make a symmetrical 5-pointed star. This trick can be used on all kinds of materials, but I have found that it works best on paper and card stock, which you can then use as a template to transfer it to other more durable materials.

All you need for this Instructable is a straight edge or ruler, a circle-drawing compass, a protractor, and a pencil.

How To Draw A Perfect Five

Many great artists and painters from history knew and used geometry to create masterpieces. Understanding the principles of mathematics makes it easier to draw or build well-proportioned objects. To draw a perfect five-pointed star, you must start with a circle and divide the 360 degrees of the circle by five, which equals 72. This method allows you form all sides of your star evenly.

Draw A Center Line Then A Circle

For this Instrucatble, I used a graphics editor in an image 800×800. But for your star or stars, you’ll simply decide, based on your project, how big you need the star to be. The largest I have ever made is on a 4.5″ radius for a Captain America shield, but you can go as big or small as you need.

First: find center of your circle and draw a center line through it at least the length of the diameter of the size you need for your star. A little big is better.

Second: draw the circle of the radius size for your star.

    What Is The Christmas Star

This winter solstice, 21st December, the two largest planets Jupiter and Saturn appeared closer together in the sky then they have for some 800 years. It was rumoured that they will be so close that they will look like one bright star. There is some debate about this but whether they will or not depends on where you are in the world, how good your eyesight is and the weather conditions. If you have poor eyesight, you may well see them as one bright star, and due to the time of year, its no surprise that people are calling it a Christmas Star. Last night was overcast where I live and the best night for seeing the stars during this conjunction may turn out to be Christmas Eve.

So what was the original Christmas Star? Some believe that the unusually large bright star referred to in the Bible that appeared at Jesus birth was a conjunction of planets. But that is just one of a number of theories. We dont know the year of Jesus birth or even the time of year for sure.

    5. Draw a line connecting the two crosses.

      6. Place the point of your compass in the centre of your circle and draw two more arcs as shown below.

        7. Place the point of your compass on the intersection of the horizontal line with the left-hand side of the circle and draw to more arcs that cross with the previous two.

          8. Join the two crosses you have just created with a second vertical line. This line runs parallel to the original vertical line.

Measure The Angles For The Star Points

For those who don’t remember this from geometry, a circle has 360 degrees. If a 5-point star sits inside a circle, that means each point is 360/5 = 72 degrees away from its neighbors.

This next step is to mark the points of the star on the circle using your protractor. The center line you drew is step 1 is your zero-degree mark. Measure one hash mark at 72 degrees, and the next at 144 degrees, counting counter-clockwise. Flip your protractor, start at zero degrees again, and make the same measurements in a clockwise direction. the two sides split by the center line should look like mirror images when you have them complete.

The five pointed star, has been used as a symbol throughout the world, spanning the millennia of human civilization and crossing cultural boundaries. In its most general usage, the star represents the heavens, the night sky, and outer space – where you can also see comets!

In medieval Europe, the star was used to portray power, authority, and heraldry. The five pointed star is also used by various religions, including Islam, the Bahá’í faith, and the Serrer religion of West Africa, as well as many military divisions, non-religious societies, sports teams, and organizations.

Would you like to learn to draw a perfectly symmetrical, five pointed star? Now you can, by following this easy, step-by-step drawing tutorial.

In order to draw your star, you will need a piece of paper and a writing implement, such as a pen, pencil, or marker. You may also want to use colored pencils, markers, or crayons to color your finished drawing. Having a good eraser and a straight edge ruler at hand is also advisable.

Each step in this drawing guide is accompanied by a pictorial illustration. In each picture, new lines added in that step are highlighted in blue; previously draw lines are shown in black. You will likely want to draw lightly at first, as you will be erasing some of your original lines as you go along.

                      Figuring Measurements Of A 5

Have a frame and want to know how many feet of light strings you’ll want to go around the perimeter or across the points?

Want to form a star of a particular height? Take a look at the photos.

Note, this is for a Symmetrical Star — all 5 points have the same angle, and all 10 outer sides along the perimeter are equal.

                      QUICK FACTS:

                      • The angle in any point of the star is 36 degrees.
                      • If you bisect the angle in any point , each angle is 18 degrees.

Because this angle is always the same, given only the measurement along one of the outer sides of the star, as long as it is a Symmetrical Star, you can calculate the other dimensions. Or given one of the other dimensions, you can calculate the side.

The parts of this Symmetrical Star are always in the same ratios or proportions to each other. So they’re easy to calculate.

                      Sides Base Inner Chord Measurements

If you know the measurement along one side of a star point — for instance, the distance between A and B in the drawing, then the following calculations are possible.

                      QUICK RESULTS:

                      • The “Base” will be always be 0.309 times the measurement of any one of the sides of a StarPoint. Another way of saying this is that the Base is 30.9% of the size of any Side — when it’s a Symmetrical Star. If the Side of the star were 100 miles long, the Base would be 30.9 miles long.
                      • Because the “Inner Chord” is just two Bases added together, the length of the Inner Cord will be = times the measurement of any one of the Sides of a star’s point.

Draw The Corners Of The Star

Draw the lines to the lower corners of the pentagon starting from the upper ones. The lines should cross exactly in the center.

Use one more line to connect the opposite corners.

Erase the circle and leave the star only.

Also erase the lines inside the star, leaving only the contour.

Divide the star into two equal halves.

Draw two lines from the upper corners which are being intersected in the center.

Similarly, draw the lines from the lower corners.

The star is ready. Color it yellow and orange.

Sometime I wish AutoCAD had a single command named star that will allow me to quickly draw a star, don’t you think it will be nice?

What makes AutoCAD cool is the fact that you can nearly draw anything starting from scratch, and this is a factor that allow you to have a very unique design and give you the ability to be in control of every single line in you design.

AutoCAD allows you to create blogs, this will prevent you having to draw something twice for different design over time. You just have to draw it once, convert it into a bloc and keep it for next use.

Here is a quick tutorial on how to draw a 5 points star in nearly 5 simple clicks.

How to Draw a 5 point star in autocad

                        Step 1. Draw a polygon

Draw a polygon with 5 sides.

Step 2. Connect edges of the Polygon such as shown on the figure below

Step 3. Use the TRIM command to clean your STAR

Step 4. Use the ERASE command to delete the polygon. You should be left with your star

Here you go. You have just drawn a 5 points star

You can use the same technique to draw a 6 points star in AutoCAD, but in this case you will need to use a polygon with 6 sides.
