  • Help the kid paint his palms and four of his fingers brown. Do not paint the thumb.
  • Press the handprint onto the front side of the blank greeting card.
  • Now, on the brown paper, draw a circle for the head, two semi-circles for a pair of ears, a tail. Cut along the outlines.
  • Stick the head where the thumb would have been.
  • Stick the ears and the tail, and then paint the face and nose onto the monkey.

    How To Make Fathers Day Trophy Card Tutorial

    Print out our template on construction paper. Weve chosen yellow for our trophy card.

    Cut out all the pieces of the template.

    Fold the trophy card along the dashed line.

    Make sure the fold is super crisp we make our folds crisp by running a craft stick across the fold effective and inexpensive tool, especially if you are crafting in the classroom.

    Cut along the full line to make the trophy shape. Do not cut the dashed line on top and on the bottom of the trophy.

    Glue the handles on the trophy you can glue them on the front or in the back of the card.

    Take the circle shape. As you can see there are two circle shapes, one inside the other.

    You can either color the larger circle or trace the large circle on construction paper in different color.

    If you traced the circle, cut it out.

    Now cut out the smaller circle from the template.

    Glue the small circle inside the larger one.

    Trace the rectangle on white paper .

    Cut out the rectangle.

    Fathers Day Cards To Make: Instructions

    Step 1:

    Firstly, cut out your tie-pattern from the smaller piece of patternedpaper.

    You can download my freeTie Templateto help withthis.

    Simply print it out, cut it out, and trace around it onto your coloredpaper.

    Step 2:

    Now, fold your larger piece of patterned card in half, to form a crease downthe centre.

    On the inside cover of your card, mark the center point.

    Draw a short line from the centre point straightdown. Cut along this line with your scissors.

    Step 3:

    Now turn your card back over, so the pattern shows.

    Fold down two flaps, creasing a line from the base of the cut you just madeto the top corners of the front of the card.

    This will make the collar for your shirt-card.

    Step 4:

    Position your tie on the front of your card and glue it in place.

    Now glue down the collar with your glue stick.

    And that’s it! Isn’t this just the simplestcard!

    You can glue on some embellishments if you like. Here I have glued on twosilver sequins for buttons.
