Now Draw Another Book For The Stack
In the last step of your stack of books drawing, you replicated what you did in the second step. For part 4, we will instead replicate what you did in the very first step.
This means that the spine of the book will once again be facing us. Once again, use your ruler to draw the edges of the covers that are visible to us.
Then, use some curved and straight lines to draw the spine of the book to look similar to the first one.
There will be some different line details on the spine this time, and once again we will be drawing a bookmark dropping down from between the pages.
This time the bookmark will instead be a rope one sticking out.
Once this book is drawn, we will be ready to add the last book and some final touches in the next step.
How To Draw A Book Open
Drawing a book open looks a little more complicated but it is just as simple.
Draw a line for the centre of the book and create two rectangles from this. Make the top and bottom lines curved so you get the effect of an open book.
Draw a few small lines at the bottom of the pages to represent pages.
Next draw the front and back covers. This is just a large rectangle set behind the doodles you have already made. I like to darken the edges a little to make it stand out.
Finally add a cute bookmark.

How To Draw A Stack Of Books
Drawing of a book stack can be done just as easily.
First, you would like in your stack and starting from the bottom draw a elongated U on its side. Then repeat this for the number of books you want.
Do a slightly indented line at the top of each U to represent the pages.
Next are the covers and spine. For the top book you will need three lines. Two coming from the curve of the U for the spine and one from the top for the book cover. Next draw the remaining spine lines.
The last step is to draw the tops of these spines with a curved line and the top of the book cover on the top stacked book.
Draw a few lines to make the pages of the books and you are finished.

How To Draw A Notebook
Before we start drawing books, lets begin with an easy tutorial on how to draw a notebook. This notebook is absolutely adorable with the heart detail and its simple to draw yourself.
1. The first step is to draw a box in an angle. You can do this by drawing two straight lines in an angle and then join them off with two horizontal lines on either side.
2. Youll then need to draw two curves starting at the right side and then on the left side. Youll also need to draw a small sort of angled V-shape to show the edge of the notebook.
3. Draw four small circles at the top of the box. This will be used for the spirals of the notebook.
4. Now all you need to do is join the lines together, from the first curve, to the edge of the notebook and to the other curved line.
5. To complete your notebook drawing, youll now want to draw the spirals. You can do this by drawing a half circle from the small circles you had drawn earlier to the edge of the line of your top square.
Make sure to curve the line of your half circle as you go from one small hole to the next.
6. For extra details, you can go ahead and personalize it any way you want. I just drew a heart shape and wrote the word notes to finish off this notebook drawing.

For this part, you will essentially be replicating what you did in the previous step two more times.
There will be two books added in this step, and while theyre at slightly different angles they will all have the pages facing us instead of the spines.
Otherwise, you will essentially do what you just did in the previous step and draw some straight lines for the edges of the covers and some curved ones for the pages.
For a bit of variety, we will also draw some bookmarks dropping down from the books.
Draw The Second Book In The Pile
Now that you have drawn the first book of this stack of books drawing, you are ready to draw the second one.
This book will be positioned a bit differently from the first one, as the spine wont be facing us this time.
We shall start by using your ruler to draw the top cover of the book poking out, and then extend more of those short, curved lines down from the corners.
Finish off by using some more straight lines for the back cover of the book running parallel to the pages. Then add some more page details, and we can move on to step 3 of the guide!

Did you know? School books haven’t always looked as they do today – leaves of paper between a sturdy cover. Several hundred years ago, children in America and Europe used hornbooks.
These were wooden paddles with a sheet of paper attached, bearing information such as the alphabet, counting numbers, and a set of bible verses known as “the Lord’s Prayer.” The paper was covered with a thin layer of cow horn in order to preserve it.

Even earlier in history, children were taught to read and write from long, rolled sheets of paper known as scrolls. At other times, wax was poured into a metal or wooden frame.
Children used a pointed stick called a stylus to carve into the wax, practicing writing. Later, the words could be erased by smoothing the wax, and the tablet reused.
