Step:3 How To Shade In Ear Parts

Now you have to shade in this drawing, You have to do this shedding in a very different way, friends, because it is necessary to take great care in shade which can improve your shade. Friends stepwise, you are being aware of everything that you should not be confused at all in making this drawing and you can draw this drawing very well.

Step 5: Complete The Other Leg And Add Finishing Touches

Youll soon be coloring in your image, but first, well add a few finishing touches in this stage of our Roblox drawing tutorial.

The other leg will be the first to be added. You should have no trouble drawing this one since it will appear quite similar to the one you previously drew! Then, after youve got that leg, you may finish off with some finishing touches.

For additional texture, add some outlines to the edges of his arms and the hem of his jacket, as shown in our tutorial.

Step 3 Drawing Anime And Manga Ears

In the third and final step, we are going to draw the details inside the ear bowl. The two most prominent anatomical features that show up in anime and manga drawings are the tragus and the antihelix.

Note the tragus indicated in the image above,  as well as the inner plane of the antihelix curving into the bottom of the bowl of the year.

If you look carefully at the highlighted lines in the image above, you will see that the two lines of the antihelix and the tragus are also almost parallel in most cases.

Also note that the antitragus anatomy is subdued on most of these drawings. But why?

Anime stylization is the reason why antitragus is not indicated. In anime and manga drawings the object is reduced to its very basic recognizable features. For the ear, those features are the helix, the antihelix and the tragus. Everything else is either very lightly suggested or left behind.

Step 13: Shading The Eyes

Now comes the part thats most fun in my opinion. We are going to bring the tiger alive through adding shading and fur texture to his body. For this youll need pencils of different grades now. I always mention which pencils I used for the different parts.

For this, youll need pencils of different grades now. I always mention which pencils I used for the different parts.

Before you start filling in the tiger, you may consider rolling your knead-eraser over the whole outline once more. The lines should be so pale that you wont see them in the finished picture.

Fill in the pupil with a 6B pencil, but leave a white highlight inside. Then take a 4B pencil to shade the eyelids:

Draw the borders of the lower eyelid with a sharp pencil and with a lot of pressure, so that they become very dark . Then fill in the space between the black borders with a lighter grey value. This will give a neat 3D effect to the eyelid. You can see that it is bulging out.

Draw one thick black line along the upper eyelid. Then add many little curved lines on top of it. These are no eyelashes. Instead, these black lines are parts of the eyelid, which are visible between white strands of fur.The later are the white spaces between the black lines.

Step 2: Cover Highlighted Areas

Now Cover all the dog highlighted areas using the indenting tool. The indenting tool will actually pop up the highlighted area by creating the depth on the paper.

I dont have any indenting tool, so Im using here this construction nail in the replacement of the indent tool. and I hope this works pretty well for you too.

So This technique is amazing to achieve a realistic look on your dogs face drawing.

Basic Ear Anatomy To Draw Anime Ears

Lets review very basic ear anatomy together. It will help you draw anime and manga ears immensely, or you can proceed directly to the if you wish! There are five parts of an ear that we need to know to draw anime ears.

With each section, I provide an image that identifies the feature of anatomy by highlighting it from different angles.

Step 12: Draw Black Fur Pattern

Here I stopped using zigzag lines so that you can still tell the difference between black and white fur-pattern. The newly added patterns in each step are shown in red, for better visibility.

Draw in the following for each eye. two little shapes into the white area above the eye. A big shape that starts at the outer corner of the eye. A thin stripe below the white fur under the eye. On the left side, the last two are connected.

Fill in the forehead with several thin and uneven stripes. They start close to the white fur above the eyes and point diagonally upwards to the middle of the skull. Sprinkle a few dots below them.

The green line that runs up the skull in this picture is there to show the middle of the fur pattern. Note how it bends slightly to the right at the top. All stripes that run towards it end before they touch this middle line.

There are only two little stripes that lie on it. Draw in five rows of stripes in total. The upper three, between the ears, are close together, while the lower two have a bit more space between them.

Draw in two stripes that start thin under the ears and go outwards to the sideburns. There they get broad and arc down in a big curve.

Add two more stripes, which start close to the pattern at the outer corner of the eye. On the left side, it is actually extending that pattern. They curve down to the beginning of the snout and send out a couple of spikes that point towards the eyes.

You Can Refer To The Simple Step

Step 1: Draw an ear shape

Using a blunt HB pencil, draw a narrow ear. If you want to draw more protruding ears, pull your ears wider.

Then measure the length of your drawing and make a ruler next to it. Draw 3 lines through the ruler, dividing it into 4 equal parts. I labeled 3 lines A, B and C so I can refer to them easily.

Step 2: Draw a large hook image

how to draw-from-front-step-2-rfaDraw a hook starting from line B and ending at line A.

Step 3: Add Tragus

In a continuous stroke starting on B line, draw the ear flap and end your stroke with a small hook located on the C line.

Step 4: Create a big crease

Add a curve on the right side starting from the top of the ear and ending below the C line. Leave enough space for the earlobes.

Step 5: Add a small hook shape

Between the 2 lines you have just drawn, draw a big hook on the C line.

Step 6:

Use the shadow lining technique to draw a curve at the center of the ear. Try not to make it parallel to the curve drawn in step 4.

Step 7: Prepare the shade

Okay, finally before we shade!

Delete ruler and horizontal line.

To keep your edges sharp and clean when you shade, use a sharp 4B pencil to outline the areas of the ear that create the darkest shadows Areas like deep valleys, folds main and protruding sections.

Your outline should not be too dark because you dont want to show them after you shade.

Step 8: Add the darkest shadow

If your pencil is still sharp, use a scrap of paper to make it blunt and then paint your shadow.

Step 3 Start To Draw In The Inner Part Of The Ear

In step 3 of this guide on how to draw an ear, we will start to move away from the outer ear and begin with the inner part of the ear.

The inner ear is the most intricate part of the drawing, so we will focus on how to make it easier to draw in the next few steps.

To start with, simply extend the line coming from the top curve of the ear even more towards the center. Then, you can add a very curvy line near to the center of the ear as it appears in the picture.

Step 17: Draw Tiger Shadows & Black Specks

Keep your 2B pencil and add several curved rows of dots on each side of the snout.Scatter them above and between the whiskers. Also, draw in a couple of dark lines on the chin and make a few tiny dots at the sides of the bridge of the nose.

Now the tigers face is complete and in a few steps well finish his body.

Its 2AM and your tutorials are what have kept me awake for so long. These are so helpful, I really appreciate the effort you put into posting these! =D THANK YOU!!!

  • Step 3: Complete The Face And Another Arm

Simply use two tiny, solid black ovals with a white dot in each one to attract the eyes. Next, with a basic curved line, you can make a smiling mouth. After youve completed the face, well use some basic lines to begin sketching his chest.

Then, draw his second hand at his sides with additional curled lines. This hand will resemble the very first one you sketched, but it will not be clutching something like the other.

Step 3: Add Curved Lines Within The Inner Ear

Time to start mapping out the general shape of the ear. At the widest of the line you just made, closest to the gap we left in the original sweet potato shape, were going to curve the line towards the back of the ear.

Stop about 1/3 of the way in and then create a downward curving line to cut that off and create an almond shape.

Now, below that lets create the cartilage! At the bottom part of the gap we left in step 1, make a little mountain and extend the top line just a little bit. At that extension, were going to then bring a final line inward to follow the bottom line of the almond shape we made.

Final Thoughts On Drawing Anime Ears

In this tutorial, went over the basic anatomy of the ear. We also went over some examples of ear drawings in anime, and finally, we went over my three-step process for drawing anime and manga ears.

However, one thing still missing from improving your drawings of anime ears is practice! Just practice!

Take the knowledge from this tutorial with you, and do not forget about the underlying anatomical structure. Then look at samples of your own favorite Anime and Magna art as reference, and then spend some time practicing your drawing.

Fill a few pages of your sketchbook with drawings of anime ears and you will see your drawings improved substantially.

As always, you can provide me with feedback . I hope this tutorial improves your anime ear drawings!

How To Draw An Ear From The Back Three Quarter View

If you can remember how you learned to draw the ear from the side view, youre now going to be turning the ear slightly to combine the side view with the back view to give you the three-quarter view.

I think its worth saying again that even though its unlikely that you will need to draw the ear from this view very often, its still an important exercise to help you better understand the ear, that will actually improve your ability to draw an ear from any angle.

To simplify the major shape of drawing the ear from this view you can think of it like a question mark.

The hook part of the question mark forms the top of the ear, and as it curves down towards the bottom the ear lobe creates the dot on the bottom of the question mark.

Start by first drawing the outer rim of the ear. If you are following the video, you can see that the instructor is starting to draw the outer rim at the very bottom of the ear.

Then, he continues to draw that line stretching upward and around towards the front of the ear, before ending as it turns inward towards the middle of the ear.

Leave a little bit of separation between the rim of the ear and the ear flap in the middle-front. When learning how to draw an ear from the back, remember the flap is the little piece that sticks out and partially covers the hole of the ear where sound can enter.

Step 6: Draw The Hand And The Wrist

When I start the top of the body, were right off the shoulder and come down towards the elbow. Then from the elbow, were going to curve out and up towards the wrist. Just round up the top on the wrist and curve up and pop the thumb coming down.

And, there you have it. A very cool Roblox Piggy drawing. Do give it a try and dont forget to color it later.

How To Draw An Ear Step

I started this drawing by blocking in the helix outline. At this early stage, I began to gauge proportions and angles.

With the helix blocked in, I marked down where I thought the tragus and anti-tragus envelop the section leading up to the ear canal.

The location of the tragus and the helix, basically dictate the rest of the ear drawing in this example.

In this step, I identified the remaining features, the width of the helix and the location of the anti helix.

To provide a little bit of depth to this ear drawing, I began to shade in areas that are receding and are hidden from the light.

In this step, I began to identify the darker darks in the concha area, as well as the terminator at the ear lobe.

At this step, I focused on shading-in the anti-helix as it ascends to the top of the ear. Since the light is coming from the top in this example, I know that some of it will be in the shadow, covered by the helix arching over it.

This is true since the helix at the apex stands out further from the head, creating a cast shadow that lands on the top part of the anti-helix.

More shading in this step to indicate the areas of light verses shadow.

Final drawing. In this step, I tried to tidy-up the outline, focusing on a readable silhouette.

    How To Draw An Ear

Step 3 – The Final Tones

Look deeply into each area of tone and try to pick up on the subtle variations that lie within.

    • You may have to darken some of the light areas and lighten some of the dark areas to achieve a balance of tone.

    • Tonal drawing is simply a balancing act between the elements of light and shade. In fact, all drawing is a constant balance between your observation, your concentration, your judgement and your technique.

You Will Learn To Draw Heads From The Front And Profile View

How to draw ears step by step. You can easily outline the shape of the ear, be clear in mind that the ear lobe is smaller in portion to helix. But i will limit myself to a few lines to describe it. For drawing an ear from the front view see:

Erase any preliminary guidelines that you don’t need. The ear consist of many irregular shapes, ears also tend to vary in shape and size from person to person. This step will also make it easier to draw ears on heads later on because you can match the guideline to the head.

This makes it difficult to have one clear proportions guide for drawing them. Then study the anatomy of eyes, nose, lips, and ears. Sketch two curves to point out the most important folds within the ear.

Following are the easy steps to follow to draw an eyebrow. Those take a few times to understand. Draw and color this duck with the help of the tutorial.

We start with a rough sketch of the vertex and outer edges of the hairstyle. First, draw a wide almond eye on either side of the cow’s head, underneath the ears. Draw in the shape of the basin area of the lower part of the ear, it will curve behind the rim that we drew in step 2 and curve around to connect with the bottom of the curve of the last step.

Shade the background of the eyebrow. When we draw an eyebrow, the background will be the skin on the brow bone. Refer to the image given below.
